Gov. Robert Bentley will visit Brewton on Monday, as a part of his “Road to Economic Recovery Tour.”

According to Bentley’s office, the purpose of the Road to Economic Recovery Tour is to visit communities and discuss local economic conditions and state-level efforts to attract more jobs to Alabama. Bentley plans to meet with area residents and business owners to discuss these topics and local issues.

Bentley’s visit will include lunch at Acapulco restaurant in downtown Brewton at noon, followed by a small business roundtable hosted by the Brewton Chamber of Commerce at 1:30 p.m. The tour will conclude with a visit to Brewton City Hall and the city’s police station at 2:30 p.m.
