Miss Jessica L. Betts, 24, of Atmore transitioned suddenly on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.

Jessica was a native of Thomasville and a longtime resident of Atmore. She was a sweet and loving young lady who enjoyed doing things around home. She was a graduate of Escambia County High School in 2008.

Those whom she touched in life and will forever cherish her beautiful memories are her mother, Dorothy Ann Betts-Riley of Atmore; her father, Sammy James of Atmore; three sisters, Amelia Betts, Amanda Betts and Sarah Betts, all of Atmore; her grandparents, Hercules and Dorothy J. Betts of Atmore; two nieces; one nephew; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Fairview Cemetery with Bishop Arthur Orr, pastor of Mission for Christ COGIC, officiating, and Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
