The sounds of “ooh” and ahh” mixed with patriotic music and the bursting of fireworks at Wind Creek Casino & Hotel on Friday night, during the annual Festival on the Fourth.

The Escambia County Community Band performed a concert during the night, playing famous marches and patriotic hymns as the fireworks began. Earlier in the day, they performed many other classics including songs by Queen, the Beatles and the big band era of radio.
