Flora E. Thomley Peacock

Flora E. Thomley Peacock, 87, of Perdido, passed away Sunday Aug. 10, 2014, at her residence.
She was a homemaker, born in Perdido on April 4, 1927, to the late Jessie Jack and Myrtle Levins Thomley.
Those who preceded her in death include her husband, Luman Peacock; a brother, Elisha Thomley; and a sister, Earlean Hicks.
Survivors are four sons, Lonell (Linda) Peacock of White House Fork, James (Patsy) Peacock, Ronnie (Judy) Peacock and Larry (Diane) Peacock, all of Bay Minette, and Janice Cox of Perdido; one brother, Sylvester (Joyce) Thomley of Lottie; four sisters, Eulalia Hadley of Perdido, Aileen Quinley of Bay Minette, Jean (Max) White of Perdido and Frankie (Wendell) Hall of Bay Minette; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug.12, from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Angelo Thomley and Bro. Michael Hadley officiating.
Interment followed in Bryars-McGill cemetery.
The family received friends Monday, Aug. 11, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of all arrangements.
