The following are arrest reports for the week of Aug. 2-8, 2014.

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 117 complaints and 17 domestic calls; served 69 civil papers; and made 29 transports, one domestic escort and four funeral escorts.

Arrested were:

• Marvin T. Barton, 54, of Brewton, for failure to appear;

• Danny Gary, 34, of Pensacola, Fla., for theft of property II;

• Stacey L. Cooper, of Bay Minette, for receiving stolen property II;

• Woodie A. Carroll Jr., 47, of Brewton, for child abuse;

• Forrest Gregg Lewis, 43, of Brewton, for failure to appear;

• Joel Lewis, 38, of Atmore, for violation of probation;

• Melissa N. Ward, 37, of Repton, for two counts of failure to appear; and,

• Martha Kennedy, 39, of Brewton, for resisting arrest and domestic violence III/assault.
