A Bay Minette woman was killed Thursday morning near Poarch, according to a report from the Alabama State Troopers.

According to Trooper Curtis Summerville, 49-year-old Frankie Bracken McDuffie was killed at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, in a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Three Mile Road, four miles south of Poarch.

McDuffie was killed when the 2001 Nissan that she was driving left the roadway and hit a tree. She was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead on the scene.

No further information is available, as the Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
