Brewton man dies from crash involving Atmore man

A Brewton man has died from injuries he received in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday, Oct. 4.
According to Alabama State Trooper Kevin Cook, Albert Roach Jr., 43, was a passenger in a 2013 Hyundai driven by Timothy Stokes, 51, of Evergreen when the vehicle collided with a 1989 Ford driven by Michael O. Crenshaw of Atmore.
Roach was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., where he died from his injuries at 8:07 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14. Crenshaw, Stokes and a third occupant in Stokes’ vehicle all were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:53 p.m. on U.S. Highway 31, three miles north of Brewton.
No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
