Glendeanna Oneoneta Akins Harrison

Mrs. Glendeanna Oneoneta Akins Harrison, 71, of Goodway, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at Atmore Community Hospital.

Mrs. Harrison, a lifelong resident of Monroe County, was born in Goodway. She worked with Sportwear/Landlubber in Frisco City. She was also director of Peter Pan Daycare in Frisco City for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Akins; her sisters, Ellen Till, Jeanette Odom and Evelyn Bell; and her brothers, James Akins and Eugene Akins.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Harrison of Goodway; her sons, Gregg (Tim McCollum) Akins of Atmore and Rusty Harrison of Brantley; her daughters, Brandy Pumphrey of Goodway, Jamie (Johnny) Perkins of Andalusia and Kylie Harrison of Brantley; her mother-in-law, Mattie Beth Harrison of Demopolis; her sisters, Lucille Fauvie of Warren, Ohio, and Mary Francis Hollinger of Uriah; four grandchildren, Trey Harrison, Haley Pumphrey, Scotty Pumphrey and Sean Mitchell; and one great-grandchild, Karly King.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Sowell Old Field Cemetery in Goodway. Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
