Mr. Sammy Lee Williams, 62, of Bay Minette, entered eternal rest Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary.

He was a native and longtime resident of Baldwin County, having lived in Latham before moving to Bay Minette. He was a retired forklift driver with International Paper Co.

Those who welcomed him into the heavenly gates are his parents, Samuel Williams and Catherine Ankum Williams; and one brother, Michael Earl Williams.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary C.W. Lamar and Hannah M. Ray, both of Bay Minette, and Stella Lewis of Mobile.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2:30 p.m., at Latham Community Cemetery with Rev. Elijah Johnson Jr., pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Bay Minette, officiating with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
