Credit card thief sought

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a man suspected of recently using a stolen credit card at businesses in Bay Minette and Atmore.

According to information from the BCSO’s Criminal Investigation Division, the man is believed to be from the Bay Minette, Atmore or north Escambia County, Fla., area.

He is suspected of using a stolen credit card at multiple locations throughout the Bay Minette and Atmore area on Sunday, Jan. 11. Two locations include the Atmore Walmart and the Chevron gas station located at Exit 54 on Interstate 65.

The man reportedly is driving what appears to be a silver, mid-2000s model two-door hatch back Ford Focus.

Anyone who has any information about this suspect is asked to contact Cpl. Matt Morrison at the BCSO, at (251) 972-8589.
