Louis Clark ‘L.C.’ Brazzell

Mr. Louis Clark “L.C.” Brazzell, 91, of Auburn, formerly of Atmore, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

A native of Centerville, Mr. Brazzell had been a longtime resident of Atmore before going to live in Auburn with his daughter.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his wife, Annie Pearl Brazzell of Atmore; two daughters, Emma Brown of Auburn and Ora Ann (Freddie) Banks of Atmore; one son, Louis Chester (Lee) Brazzell of Richmond, Va.; two grandchildren, Austin Brazzell of Richmond, and Ashley Nicole Brazzell of Atmore; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 157 Carver Ave., Atmore, with the Rev. Willie Hawthorne, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. His body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service with Harris Funeral Home of Opelika directing and Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, announcing.
