Mr. Junior Lee (Bear) Howard, 57, a resident of Atmore, passed away, Monday, March 30, 2015, at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Ms. Sharon Jenkins of Atmore; three sisters, Dorothy Louise Marshall of Pensacola, Fla., Ms. Laura Freeman of Atmore and Ms. Fannie Mae Elliot of Brewton; four brothers, Mr. James Earl Rivers of Atmore, Mr. Johnny Howard of Atmore and Mr. Roy Glenn Howard of Atmore, Mr. Major McCoy of Atmore and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, from the Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center, with Overseer Darryl North officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, with Mayberry Funeral Home directing.
