Benjamin Patrick Ray, 24, of Montrose, passed away on March 31, 2015.

Ben was born on Aug. 28, 1990, in Mobile to Joe and Deborah Ray. He graduated from Fairhope High School in 2009 and attended the University of West Florida. Ben had a passion for all water sports, including skim boarding, swimming and wake skating.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Ed and Jeanette Ray and Wheeler and Mattie Lou Crook of Atmore.

He is survived by his parents, Joe and Deborah Ray; his sister, Emily Ann Ray; and his brother, Joseph Allen Ray; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Montrose Cemetery in Montrose. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.hughesfh.com.
