There are a number of activities and events coming up in the Atmore community over the next two weeks.

GECA to perform Godspell

The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts (GECA) will be performing Godspell for four performances later this week.

Godspell is a musical by Stephen Schwartz and a book by John-Michael Tebelak, which opened off Broadway in May of 1971. The musical is structured as a series of parables, mostly from the Gospel of Matthew, and tells the story of how a community of misfits joins together in Christ to form a community. Many of the songs are based on classical hymns.
