Arnold ‘Pig’ Vickery

Funeral services for Mr. Arnold “Pig” Vickery, 58, of Dadeville, were held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Langley Funeral Home. Bro. Wallace Mann officiated. Burial followd in the Dadeville City Cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday, May 9, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Langley Funeral Home.

Mr. Vickery passed away on Thursday, May 7, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 30, 1957, in Atmore, to Wilbert Vickery and Larncille Vickery. “Pig” loved riding his motorcycle and hunting. He loved his family very much and enjoyed playing with his grandbabies.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeannie Hicks Vickery of Dadeville; daughter, Dawn Vickery of Dadeville; son, David Vickery (Shipley) of Dadeville; grandchildren, Tyler Vickery, Ethan Vickery, Jazmine Vickery and Dawson Aaron; sister, Connie Vickery of Atmore; and brothers, William Vickery (Charlene), Earnest Vickery, Bruce Vickery and Mike Vickery, all of Atmore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Vickery.

Langley Funeral Home of Camp Hill/Dadeville is in charge of the arrangements.
