JoAnn Louise Fenton, 66, of Perdido, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, in Atmore.
She was a nurse’s aide, born on July 27, 1948, in Washington to Johnny and Sadie Alexander Fenton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Eugene Sylvester and a son, Billy Joe Sylvester.
Survivors are one daughter, Pamela (Ramond) Sylvester of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Claudine Powers and Cindy Lanrum, both of Perdido; nine grandchildren, Michael, Val, Kevin, Marrisa, Steven, Christina, Ray Ray, Anna and Buddy; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday June 1, at noon from the Perdido Baptist Cemetery, with Bro. Jimmy Kyles officiating. Interment followed in Perdido Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Michael Slack, Steven Slack, Billy Rice, Charles Rice, J.D. Powers Jr., Jackie Powers III, Oscar Powers and Buddy Maddox.
The family received friends Monday, June 1, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of all arrangements.
