The staff of The Atmore Advance invites all of our readers to join in the second annual “Best of the Best” readers’ choice awards.

Included in today’s issue, on Page 5B, is a ballot containing a variety of categories, including “Best French Fries,” “Best Hairdresser” and “Business with the Friendliest Service.”

I encourage everyone to fill out a ballot and return it to us before noon on Friday, June 26. You can either take it to our office at 301 S. Main St., or mail it to either that address or P.O. Box 28. Multiple ballots are welcomed, but they must be original newsprint — no photocopies will be accepted.

Last year was the first time that the Advance held this contest, and we were thrilled to see the response from the community. We certainly hope that this year we’ll receive even more ballots. Remember, this contest is your unique chance to let your voices be heard.

This is a great way for you to show your thanks to that special business or employee who makes a difference. Whether they always make you smile, or they give a little extra effort, or they’re just always trustworthy and reliable, this is your opportunity to thank them for their hard work.
