Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sheryl Vickery said tonight’s Taste of the South event was the best the chamber has had.

Between 1,200-1,500 tickets were sold for the 12th annual event, which was held at Heritage Park.

Booths surrounded the park and plenty of area residents had good food to eat.
