Atmore Police officials have released the name of the man that was found dead Monday morning.

Investigator Robbie Williams said the deceased’s name is Reginald Edward Barnes, 64, of Nettles Street.

Williams said Barnes’ body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Mobile for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The death is still under investigation.
