Three injured in Cantonment wreck

Three people were injured in a vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Cantonment, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Jackie Roscoe Helton of Walnut Hill, Fla., was driving here 2012 Ford F-150 south on Highway 29, and crossed a median into oncoming traffic, as Cecil Wayne Carnley was traveling north on Highway 29, Trooper Tariq Tber said.

“The front of vehicle one (Helton) collided with the front of vehicle two (Carnley),” Tber said. “Vehicle one came to a final rest facing a southeasterly direction in the northbound outside lane of Highway 29.

“Vehicle two came to a final rest facing a northeasterly direction in the northbound outside lane of Highway 29, with the front left of vehicle two still against the front of vehicle one,” he said.

Also injured in the wreck was Robin JeanJean Carnley.

Cecil Carnley and Robin Carnley are listed in critical condition. Helton is listed in serious condition.

The wreck is still under investigation.
