Northview to hold annual pageant Jan. 23

Eighteen Northview High School young women will be competing for the Miss NHS crown on Sat., Jan. 23, at the school auditorium.

This year’s theme is “All That Jazz.”

Contestants will be competing in interview, introduction, physical fitness, poise and appearance, and stage question categories.

Tickets are $7, and will go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Jan. 14 in the NHS office. The tickets will not be sold at the door.

All proceeds go to benefit the NHS Model United Nations Team, and will help fund their annual trip to Orlando for FHS MUN 37.

The 2015 Miss NHS is Kendal Cobb.

The event’s masters of ceremonies are Mitchell Singleton and Hadley Woodfin.

The pageant begins at 6:30 p.m.
