Spring @MORE has different, cool look

As we sent the final pages of the spring edition of our @MORE magazine to press a couple of weeks ago, we sat back, took a deep breath and smiled.

This edition of our quarterly magazine is something a little different. While there are a few stories that highlight locals in Atmore, it also contains a different look.

Going into this magazine, we knew that we wanted to do something that isn’t normally done.

As you flip through the edition, you’ll notice that the models that feature local merchants’ clothing, all have their separate page. Instead of cutting them out and pasting them on one page, we wanted to put them in a natural setting.

Additionally, we ventured outside of Atmore and went to interview one of our own inside of his restaurant in Mobile.

We enjoyed sitting down with Chris McElhaney, who is owner and head chef of Dumbwaiter Restaurant in downtown of the port city.

Other stories in the edition include a walk through of a beautiful house and a local’s niche for writing poetry.

All in all, we had a lot of fun putting the spring edition of the magazine together for our readers.

We almost forgot to tell you to keep an eye out for the @LAST portion of the magazine.

Atmore Advance Editor Andrew Garner went out and found a lovely picture that says spring.

We hope you all enjoy this edition of our magazine, and find it a breath of spring air.
