One Atmore resident was injured during a three-vehicle wreck that occurred last Friday at the intersection of North Canoe Road and Robinsonville Road, according to Alabama State Troopers.

The Sierra pulled out in front of the Silverado, causing the Silverado to strike the Sierra and hit the side of the Tacoma.

In another accident on Monday, Steven R. Wooten, 32, of Atmore, fell asleep behind the wheel and ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a concrete culvert and overturned into a ditch between Highway 21 and County Road 12, according to the AST.

Wooten was driving a 2008 GMC Sierra. He didn’t request medial treatment.

Both of these accidents remain under investigation by the AST.
