Northview will kick off its regular season Friday night in a challenging way as the Chiefs visit Crestview for a Florida showdown.

Last week, NHS defeated J.U. Blacksher of Uriah 35-6, scoring on every possession except for one in the second half.

Chiefs head football coach Derek Marshman said the game will be a challenge for his team, not only in multiple ways, but from an individual standpoint, too.

“They’ve got a lot of playmakers on the field,” Marshman said. “They’ve got a big offensive and defensive line, along with a good secondary.”

Marshman said the key players for CHS are wide receiver Andrew Adkins; quarterback Rusty Moofer; defensive tackles Michael Robinson and Cameron Moffett; defensive end Samuel Johnson; and middle linebacker Mondreus Flavors.

Kick off in Crestview on Friday is at 7 p.m.
