A small portion of Highway 21 will be resurfaced from around Magnolia Street to the Florida state line starting today, Greg Vaughn, with the city of Atmore’s building and zoning department, said Monday.

Vaughn said the Alabama Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing the small stretch today, and that one lane will be closed at a time.

Vaughn didn’t indicate how long the resurfacing will take.
