United Bank promotes bank officers recently

United Bank President and CEO Robert R. Jones III recently announced the promotion of several bank officers.
The officers and their new positions are:
• Abby Wiggins, vice president
• Cecilia Harrison, assistant vice president
• Jane Woods, vice president
• Tonya Lambert, assistant vice president
“I am extremely proud of these officers and the diverse and extensive knowledge and talent they bring to their positions with United Bank,” Jones said in a release. “With more than 45 years combined experience, these leaders bring insight and knowledge to our banking institution. I want to congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions.”
Abby Wiggins, product and services technologist, joined United Bank in July of 2005 and is responsible for management of technology based products and services. Wiggins earned a bachelor’s degree from University of West Florida and is a graduate of Leadership Santa Rosa and Alabama School of Banking. She is an active board member with the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Santa Rosa County Young Professionals. In addition, she is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Milton. In 2011, Wiggins was recognized as the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leader of the Year.
Cecilia Harrison, retail administration officer and training director, rejoined United Bank in February of 2011 and is responsible for training and retail operations. Harrison chairs Youth Leadership Atmore. She is a member of the Escambia County Middle School Student Leadership Project and is a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Alabama. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and is a second-year student at Alabama School of Banking.
Jane Woods, branch manager, joined United Bank in August of 1988 and is responsible for the management and oversight of the Flomaton branch. Woods earned an associate’s degree from Jefferson Davis Community College. She is a graduate of Alabama School of Banking and Leadership Atmore. She is active with both Flomaton and Century Chamber of Commerce. She also contributes her talents to the Gettin’ Ahead Program in Century and Tri-City Volunteers. She is a member and past president of Flomaton Lions Club.
Tonya Lambert, public relations, joined the bank in February of 2011 and is responsible for corporate public relations. Lambert earned a bachelor’s degree and a business administration Degree from the University of South Alabama and is a second-year student at Alabama School of Banking. She is past chairman for the North Baldwin Infirmary Hospital Foundation Gala and past executive board member for the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. At present, she is a member of the Heritage Junior Women’s Club, secretary for the Perdido Elementary School PTO board of directors, social chairman for the Class of 2018 Alabama School of Banking and a member of the Young Professionals of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.
