The Atmore City Council revoked the license of a local business during its meeting Monday afternoon at city hall.

Special Occasion’s license to operate a banquet hall was revoked because alcohol was served on the business’s premises, Mayor Jim Staff said.

Staff said the council informed the business owners what they need to do to have another license issued.
