Northview ended its season Tuesday, falling 5-3 to Chipley, Fla., in the FHSAA Class 1A, District 1 tournament at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.

The Chiefs led 1-0 in the top of the third, and plated two additional runs in the top of the fifth, according to NorthEscambia.com.

However, Chipley answered with five runs in the bottom half of the fifth inning.

Quentin Sampson went 1-for-4 with a run and a double; Chandler Lowery went 1-for-4; Jared Aliff went 1-for-2 with a run and an RBI; Zach Payne went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a double; and Devin Stabler went 2-for-3 with a run to lead NHS.
