United Bank needs your photos

United Bank is asking photographers to send in their best farm and landscape photos for a contest to help redecorate the bank’s branches.

The contest is running now until June 30, 2017, which is the deadline to submit photos.

“This is something that (United Bank President and CEO) Bob’s (Jones) has wanted to do for several years,” Marketing Specialist Helen Doyle said. “It’s time to refresh our branches, and we thought what better way to do it with local photography.”

The contest is for United Bank’s branches around Monroe, Escambia and Baldwin Counties in Alabama, and Santa Rosa or Escambia Counties in Florida. United Bank has 18 branches.

Agriculture is a vital part of the bank and a reason for the farm and landscape photos, Doyle said.

The photos must be taken in either one of the counties with branches. They can be emailed to marketing@unitedbank.com with your name, address and contact information, as well as photo details. Large format (raw format) photos are required.

Those submitting photos must agree that they can be used by UB for any marketing purposes, and if used, become the property of the bank.

“When we started this, it was an effort to help identify creative people in our area,” Jones said. “What has come out of it is proof of the amazing people and area we live in. We look forward to seeing more of the incredible photos that everyone has to enter.”
