Locals will have plenty of opportunities to attend Fourth of July activities next week.

The following area the scheduled Fourth of July week events:

Atmore

• The annual Independence Day celebration at Wind Creek Atmore will take place Tues., July 4. Promotions will occur throughout the day beginning at 2 p.m. At 8 p.m., the original BB King Blues Band will perform favorite American hits and patriotic tunes in the amphitheatre. The fireworks extravaganza will begin at 9 p.m.

Flomaton

• The fireworks celebration will be held on Mon., July 3, at around 9 p.m.
