Troopers looking for vehicle crash suspect

Alabama State Troopers need your help in locating a vehicle in connection with a fatality crash that occurred early this morning in Semmes.

According to Public Information Officer Kevin Cook, the vehicle believed to have ran over Tania Lynne McPherson, 48, of Semmes, is a 1988-2000 Chevrolet truck or SUV.

The vehicle’s color is unknown, but it may have a damaged left front headlight, hood and bumper, Cook said.

“The headlight will be flat with a rectangular light style,” he said. “This vehicle may have been involved in a fatality crash early this morning, July 6, in the area of 5201 McCrary Rd. and Carmary Lane (a private road) between the hours of 12:54 a.m. and 2:53 a.m. The vehicle was south bound on McCrary Road shortly after the crash.”
