Escambia County High School and AL.com are hosting the first-ever Coastal Connection Media Day on Thurs., Aug. 3, at ECHS.

Some 19 schools will be represented at the media day. Coaches, along with a few players from each school, will have an opportunity to talk about their upcoming seasons in a press conference question and answer type period with interviews with reporters from newspaper, TV and radio that could follow afterward.

ECHS head football coach Rico Jackson said at the Atmore Rotary Club’s meeting Tuesday that he wanted to invite schools in counties that touch Mobile and Baldwin county to the media day.
