Frontier to discontinue operations Monday due to winds

Frontier Communications announced today that it will discontinue field operations tomorrow, Mon., Sept. 11, in Atmore and Monroeville, due to projected tropical force winds from Hurricane Irma.

The communications company also announced that it will discontinue operations in Statesboro and Fairmount in Georgia as well.

Functions will continue to be available for customers, reporting service troubles to Frontier, for example.

The number to call is 1-800-921-8101. The phone number is also available in Español at 1-800-921-8103. However, no work will be dispatched on Monday. A decision about work schedules following Monday will be decided on that day.
