Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks completed the first 40 hours of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program.

Brooks received the certificate of recognition at the annual Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in August.

The program consists of specialized, executive level training, and is administered by the University Partnership and the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police.

The UPACE Partnership is made up of Jacksonville State University, The University of Alabama and Troy University-Dothan.
