During the week of Nov. 4-10, 2017, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to 218 complaints and served 80 civil papers, responded to seven domestic calls and performed eight funeral escorts.

Arrested were:

• Christopher B. Johnson, 43, of Brewton, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana II.

• Gavria M. Melton, 28, of Centerpoint, for two counts of attempting to commit a controlled substance crime, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana II and inmate in possession of a cell phone.

• Ron M. Reid, 30, of East Brewton, for promoting prison contraband I.

• Mikeal T. Starks, 25, of Atmore, for burglary I and robbery I.

• Michael A. Woods, 21, of Brewton, for promoting prison contraband II, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana II.

• William S. Baker, 19, of Brewton, for failure to appear.

• Charles T. Wesley, 33, of Flomaton, for revocation of bond.

• John D. Flowers, 31, of Atmore, for bench warrant and conditional release violation.

•David A. Hall, 53, of Atmore, for failure to appear.

• James A. White, 25, of Bessemer, for two counts of attempting to commit a controlled substance crime, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing II and inmate in possession of a cell phone.
