Northview holds football banquet

Northview held its annual football banquet at the Walnut Hill Ruritan club on Dec. 5.
Cheerleaders and football players were recognized for their efforts on the sideline and gridiron during the 2017 season.
Each student athlete was recognized by grade in each sport.
Individual awards were also given out at the banquet.
The following are those who earned individual awards:
Varsity cheer
Karlee Criswell, most improved; Shelby Bashore, strength of character; Madison Sherouse, best all around; Celeste North, team player; Cloe Smith, most spirited; Gabrielle Kline, most dependable; Dalton Hamilton, coach’s award.
Not there, but received awrad was Madicyn Bell, most determined; and Olivia Seals, showmanship award.
Varsity football
Johnnie Windham, most outstanding newcomer; Seth Killiam, highest academic achiever; Tim Bush, most outstanding receiver; Killiam, most outstanding defensive back; Trent Peebles, most outstanding offensive back; Lance McLaughlin, top linebacker; Justin Helton, most outstanding offensive lineman; Jason Fischer, most outstanding defensive lineman; Hunter Spence, chief award; Jaden Jackson, the Farm Bureau’s most valuable offensive player; and McLaughlin, the Farm Bureau’s most valuable defensive player.
