A Freemanville man died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 21 on April 14, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Sgt. Derek R. Gessner said the crash occurred at 2:53 p.m. at the 4.6 mile marker on Highway 21. Additionally, the crash injured two others.

Gessner said Antonio Richardson, 38, was killed when the 2007 Scion he was a passenger in left the roadway and overturned on Highway 21, three miles north of Atmore.

Gessner said the driver, Willie James Hudson, 28, of Atmore, and Wade Johnson III, 27, also of Atmore, were transported to Atmore Community Hospital.

Gessner said none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts, and both Richardson and Johnson were ejected from the vehicle.
