We all have, right?

Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services provide TV and movie watchers the perfect medium to binge their favorites.

Last weekend, my plan was to do something productive after going to the Atmore Area YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day, but that didn’t happen.

Instead, and after searching for something to watch, I found myself binging Netflix’s “Longmire,” TV show.

Now, I had watched it before over some period of time. But like most things, I put it down and it got placed on the back burner.

I mean, a TV show isn’t that important, right?

In my free time last weekend, I took advantage and found myself pacing right along through the show.

I’ve got a couple more seasons before I finish the series, which is quite good actually.

“Longmire” is based off of a set of novels, “The Walt Longmire Mystery Series.”

The show is centered on a sheriff, Longmire, in a town in Wyoming. The sheriff solves murder cases, and other mysteries that come to the surface.

The gruff nature of the main character and the rustic setting of the show always bring a smile to my face as I watch.

In fact, you wouldn’t have guessed it, but the actor who plays Longmire, Robert Taylor, is from Australia. He can pull the Midwestern accent with a twinge of country quite well.

As I was writing this, I realized that I only have one more season of this show to go before I’m through with it.

Man, I must have watched a bunch last weekend.

Like any good TV show, I’m sure in time I’ll pick it back up again from the beginning.

Because hey, I’m already doing that with “Parks and Recreation” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

Like those shows, “Longmire” is one that holds a lot of weight and is high on my list of shows that I find binge worthy.
