EA volleyball squad finishes 1-2 in jamboree

Escambia Academy’s volleyball squad finished 1-2 at a WBA Jamboree in Molino, Fla. last weekend.

The Lady Cougars lost 14-25, 23-25 to Trinitas, lost to Calvary 25-21, 14-25, 7-15 and beat Central Christian 25-19, 16-25, 18-16 in the consolation bracket.

EA’s Lexie Hollinger, Lily Woods and Kelly Polletta led the Lady Cougars in kills, serves and blocks.

Kaile Gumapac and LaKrystal Turner were named on the all-tournament team.

The Lady Cougars are back in action tomorrow at Clarke Prep.
