Repton men die in 1-vehicle crash
Two Repton men were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65, 3 miles north of Atmore on Tuesday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Sgt. Derek R. Gessner said in a release that the crash occurred at 7:10 p.m.
He said the two Repton men, Conan L. Ivey, 42, and Nathan R. Ivey, 17, were killed when the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe they were riding in left the roadway and struck a tree.
Gessner said Conan Ivey was pronounced dead on the scene, and Nathan Ivey was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., where he died from his injuries.
“The driver, Elizabeth Ivey, 42, of Repton, was injured and transported to Sacred Heart,” he said.
The crash occurred at the 60.2 mile marker.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
