Wind Creek Hospitality is joining the fight to fight childhood cancer.

Earlier this month, Denver Shuttlesworth, 19, a member of the Poarch Creek Indians, lost his battle with cancer.

In honor of Shuttlesworth and of those who are fighting, WCH is going to help Pilots for Christ and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“We need your help to make a difference for children like Denver in our communities,” WCH officials said in a release. “For each person who visits a Wind Creek resort (Wind Creek Atmore, Wind Creek Wetumpka and Wind Creek Montgomery) on Fri., Sept. 28, $1 will be donated to fund the fight against childhood cancer. To participate, you can visit restaurants, the spa, cooking studio, casino, and any of our resort amenities.”

WCH is aiming to raise $50,000 to fight childhood cancer.
