Two Escambia County-area football teams went opposite ways in the Alabama Sports Writers Association football poll, which was released today.

Escambia Academy bumped up two spots to No. 7 in the AISA poll, while T.R. Miller dropped two spots to No. 8 from No. 6.

EA defeated Hooper Academy 47-14 last Thursday, while TRM suffered a close 28-25 loss to Mobile Christian.
