Opal Daphne Jones, 73, of Bay Minette, passed way on Tues., Dec. 25, 2018 in Bay Minette.

She was a homemaker born in Pensacola, Fla. on Nov. 29, 1945, to the late Jerry Lee and Montez Gulley Jones Sr. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are a daughter, Gloria Jean Jones of Pensacola; three

grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany and Deonte; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Lee Jones Jr. of Georgia; and two sisters, Geraldine Jones and Lula (William) Jarman of Perdido.

Graveside services were held Dec. 29, 2018, in the Perdido Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Robert Klotz officiating. Interment followed in Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Tremaine Pimperl, Micah Pimperl, Noah Pimperl, Tony Graham, Jerry Johnson and Barry Fullerton.

Family received friends Dec. 29 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Perdido Baptist Church Building Fund.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
