Mrs. Carrie Jean Lee was born in Monroeville on Feb. 14, 1938, to John David and Frances Lee Young, but was reared in Mobile, from the age of 2.

Mrs. Carrie Jean Lee transitioned from time to eternity on Tues., Dec. 25, 2018.

She was a faithful and loyal member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church of Mobile, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Clyde Maye Jr., in Mobile.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 54 years, Mr. Ozzie Lee

Those will forever love and cherish her memories include two loving children, Kimberly Lee of Mobile and son, Kurtney (Treisa) Lee of Spanish Fort; five grandchildren, Janay Lee, Jazmin (Carleton) Mayabell, Christina Smith, Angel Smith and Jeremy Smith; one sister, Dorothy Stevenson; brother in law, William (Zina) Bodley; four sisters in law, Willie Pearl Robinson, Mary Ann Hill, Cleopatra Bodley and Danny (Samuel) Bettis; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 1761 Dr. Martin Luther King Ave. in Mobile.

The Rev. Dr. Clyde Maye Jr. served as pastor and presiding eulogist.
