Northview will begin another baseball season soon as the Chiefs look to record another successful campaign.

Eight seniors lead the Chiefs. The seniors include Nick Venable, Billy Rolin, Seth Killam, Jackson Moore, Jacob Bryant, Taylor Wilson, Ben Wilson, Adam Aliff, Tanner Levins and Alex McMinn.

Chiefs baseball coach Jeremy Greenwell said he’s expecting big things out of the senior group.

Greenwell said the Chiefs’ strengths this season will be senior leadership and pitching.

This season, NHS is playing in the FHSAA’s Class 1A, District 3 with Baker, Jay, Freeport and Chipley.

In district play, each team plays two regular-season games. Out of those games, each team will be seeded into the district tournament, where the format is single elimination.

First pitch on the Chiefs’ season will be held Feb. 21 for the Northview Classic.
