Akyrah Bradley, an eighth grader at Escambia County Middle School, won third place in the Secondary Division of the AL Bicentennial Art Contest.

The annual Alabama State Superintendent’s Visual Arts Exhibits and Bicentennial Celebration is being held during February and March 2019.

Students at ECMS were given an opportunity to participate in the Alabama Bicentennial Art Contest.

Bradley attended a luncheon and awards ceremony, in Montgomery, on Feb. 14, 2019, to honor her achievement. Her artwork will be on display in the Old Supreme Court Library of the Alabama State Capital.
