Little libraries are sprouting around Atmore.
On March 15, the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the first little library in the alleyway right next to Homestyle Furniture on North Main Street.
The little libraries were built by Chapman Maxwell of Maxwell Construction Co., and painted by Nolin Godwin.
Chamber Executive Director Emily Wilson said up to five libraries will be placed around town.
She said donated books can be dropped off at the chamber, and age appropriate books up to high school are suggested.
