Ms. Katie Lee Rudolph, 76, of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Tues., March 19, 2019, at the home of her sister.

A native of Atmore, Rudolph attended Escambia County Training School, and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.

She was employed in retail for many years working at TG&Y and K-Mart Department stores. She was a quiet lady who enjoyed watching TV and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff David Rudolph; her son, Clarence Rudolph; her parents, Eddie, Sr. and Sarah Johnson; a sister, Essie Johnson; nad two brothers, Roosevelt Johnson and Robert Frances Johnson.

Those left to cherish memories of her life are a sister, Peggy (Vincent) Jones of Atmore; brothers, Eddie Johnson Jr., Willie Bruce Johnson and Jerry Johnson, all of Atmore; a step-daughter, Christy Jones of Pensacola, Fla.; Robert Jones of Pensacola; three step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.

A funeral service will be held today, Wed., March 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Isaac Bradley, pastor, officiating. Inhumation will be in Fairview Cemetery.

A public walk in viewing was held Tuesday at the funeral home. Her remains will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
