NHS senior commits to Enterprise State Community College
Northview’s Nicholas Venable recently committed and accepted a baseball scholarship to Enterprise State Community College.
Venable had the highest batting average for the Chiefs, batting a .550 with 10 doubles, three triples and 31 stolen bases. He held the most steals recorded in Florida in Class 1A baseball. He played shortstop for NHS.
Venable struck out once all year long, his last during the regional semifinals against Bozeman.
ESCC, in Enterprise, plays out of the southern conference of the Alabama Community College Conference.
ESCC head baseball coach Sammy Frichter will utilize Venable as an infielder.
