Mildred Day Jones, 94, of Atmore, passed away on June 4, 2019, in Atmore.

She worked as a manager of Fabric Dept at T.G. & Y and was a supervisor at Vanity Fair Mills, born on Nov. 17, 1924, in Covington County to the late John Bernard and Vera Dreadin Day.

She is preceded by her parents; husband, David Freeman Jones; and three brothers,

Joel Day, Winston Day and Raymond Day.

Survivors are two sons, David (Rita) Jones and Gerald (Emily) Jones, both of Atmore; one brother, Wendell (Diane) Day of California; four grandchildren, Jon, Don, Michael and Jonathan; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held June 6, 2019, in Oak Hill Cemetery. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
